i'm also really happy because i got to see tony grizzle, my friend from high school, tonight. i finally got him to come to home group after trying for a few months. man did i miss him. he's just a great guy and freakin hilarious. i really hope he had fun though. i'm sure it was kinda weird for him cause he's catholic. so the whole message and worship we're definitely different for him. but i really hope he comes back. i know he had fun at the beginning when we played catch phrase and after when we went to sonic. i used to see him so much with school and stuff, it really sucks that i never get to see him anymore. i miss him like crazy. he was always so much fun to be around.
there's also something exciting that happened. i need to tell the whole story though :p saturday night i went to Vanessa's graduation party. it was a lot of fun. we just hung out at the house at first. then when it was just me, vanessa, sean and amber we decided to go to Coronado. when we got down there we walked to the water and stuck our feet in for a bit. it surprisingly wasn't that cold. then we walked around the hotel del. after that we went to get ice cream which was scrumptious! while we were there, we were talking about tattoos. vanessa had gotten 500 dollars from her parents so i told her she should get a tattoo. then it turns out that amber bought a tattoo machine off of e-bay (hilarious right?). so while we were eating ice cream we were asking her questions about it. then i came up with the brilliant idea for all of us to get tattoos. i think i was going crazy. so we all got little tattoos that night. hahaha. we went back the ambers house and she gave us tattoos. me, vanessa, sean, and roxanne got small crosses on the inside of our ankles. sean and vanessa's are on their left feet and mine and roxanne's are on our right. then amber got a heart tattooed on her left pointer finger. it was so much fun but it hurt so bad. i honestly don't think i'll be able to ever get another one.
but the whole reason i named this blog joy is because i feel like lately have been so full of joy. i guess i'm just always happy now. which is obviously a good thing. things are just going great in my life. i have amazing friends, God blessed me with an awesome job (even though i haven't started yet) and He is just faithful. i get to go on a missions trip... i'm sooooo excited about that. my life is just really good right now :)
